Banyoles is a town in the north east of Catalonia. It's got a population of about 19.159.
And there is a lot of tourism here.

I like Banyoles because it's a friendly town. My favourite places are the lake because it is very clean and it's quiet. For tourists there are some restaurants, but not a lots of places to go.

Banyoles is 5 kilometres from Girona. It's about 25 minutes by car.
